What it is
Matrix is an expressed-joint fibre-cement cladding — a James Hardie panel system installed with a deliberate, even shadow gap between each sheet so the wall reads as a bold grid of large panels. Where Axon runs vertical lines, Matrix is about the module: strong horizontal and vertical joints that give a facade a modern, architectural, almost commercial confidence.

The panels are large, so the set-out matters enormously — the grid has to relate to the windows, the corners and the floor levels, and every joint has to be flashed and sealed. Our process
We work the Matrix module against the design so the expressed joints relate to windows, corners and floor levels before a single panel goes up.
Wall wrap, cavity battens where the system requires them, and all flashings go on first — the joints are expressed, so the waterproofing behind them has to be right.
Panels are fixed at the manufacturer's specified centres and edge distances, with the joint sections and expansion allowances set correctly.
Every expressed joint, junction and penetration is detailed and sealed, then the cladding gets its full exterior coating.
